I need to buy a air purifier. But, when I go to website see there has a lot of different kind of it.
Is any one know what is ionic air purifier and what is hepa air purifier.
Thank you for help
Ionic Air Purifiers place a negative charge onto the particles it ***** through its collection grid. the theory is that the negative charge makes them heavy and they sink to the ground.
HEPA is a filtration that actually collects the particle thus purifying the air.
I have been an allergy sufferer for years and have used both types.
HEPA Is FAR Superior to Ionic at cleaning the air.
I currently use a BluAir purifier and find it to do an exceptionl job. It is a bit more costly, but way worth it for me.
it has been proven that an air purifier really only cleans the air that is in the immediate vacinity of the instrument.. it does nothing for the entire room.. what you want is genuine air cleaner.. there is only one that I know of that actually has been proven to clean the air in an entire room.. I cannot recall the name of it but if memory serves me correctly, it is mfged in Austin tx.. do a search for air cleaners.. I believe that the fda will not allow those ionic instruments to be called an air cleaner.. because like I said.. they don’t really clean the air.. the one that is allowed to use the word air cleaner is the one form texas.. look it up.. I think you will find it.. in fact, I’m going to see if I can find them because I want one myself.. remember.. only a bonified AIR CLEANER..
